Are we still complaining about OP nauts?
My opinion is just as worthless as everyone elses, but why are we still arguing over who is OP and who isn't? Awesomenauts has bigger issues to deal with like the whole matchmaking system/random disconnecting/not knowing who's in the game/pairing with bots. There should AT LEAST be a room during character selection so that you can chat with others in the same game and see who's already playing (and who they chose). THEN we can move onto other issues.

There are counters for EVERY naut, and yeah some characters are more annoying than others, but not to the point where character imbalances are valid excuses for losing.

I'm totally agree with you. I rather want to see some matchmaking/leaderboards and host disconnections improves, than all these changes for nerfing/buffing characters, last time they do it ruined my playstyle and i needed to change it.
And funny thing, all compliements i've see always come from OP assassin-style players (Gnaw, Leon, Coco) who are too newbie to win or even 1 kill VS skilled non-assassin player.

Totally agree with that. I really they add the option to choose your own match, rather than joining a random one. Matchmaking is broken. And joining matches can be quite difficult at times. It's better to have a broken game rather than an unplayable game.

And from what I've seen, the Characters are pretty balanced. Only that some are more annoying than others. And even that depends on the character you're playing as. Every Nauts has their counter Nauts. And every Nauts can be deadly if played right. Hey, at least you can dodge attacks in this game, that's a pretty big deal.

As a person who often selects Yuri, i can definetly say that people need to stop complaining abotu whos OP or not. Some person actually went out of their way to call me cheap for using mines. Every single character in this game has something that makes them annoying, its part of the game to work around it and kill your enemy regardless. I agree that people thinking a character is OP is no excuse for losing and then complaning about it

Thing is that some of the nauts has something that makes them completly BS.
Gnaw's weedlings, clunk homing missle against turrets, coco hitting people in base.
Stuff like that. Now you may say 'every naut has a counter' true, but that don't mean that you have the counter in the match. Or in your build. Being unable to change your build, not knowing enemy nauts.
You can't just say there is a counter. Unlike other games like smite, dota, etc.
I can't just start building magic protection if there is high magic damage. Now don't get me wrong, i love the idea of making your build before match. But it also destorys the whole 'naut can be countered' argument.

Certain nauts against other might as well just give up because you can't do anything.

This is why 'Nauts is a Team Game though. You play with your team mates, work together to counter other 'Nauts on the other team. With three different people and three different builds, it should be easy to tailor your own 'Naut to support the other two as well as provide you with ample breathing room to explore. This is why there are multiple types of Builds for each character.

Some of them may be Powerful but every 'Naut has a strong playstyle that varies depending on what other 'Nauts are with them. Skolldir can Wreck Coco, if he can get within range. Gnaw is relatively squishy and his weedlings suffer greatly from long range attacks. Yuri's mines are easily swept aside by Lonestars Bull or Leons running clones.

Play with your team. Learn to read, not just the 'naut you're playing but also the team mates you are with. Some are still learning, so be patient as well and give tips and pointers, not "You suck noob" commentary that doesn't actually help anyone.

I like to see people reasoning on whats OP and whats not. Because sometimes, things can be a tad OP, I mean hey it is a Moba...And I love being able to prove why things aren't OP or ocasionally agree. Truely being able to talk to others in the screen select would be nice, but honestly I don't really care. I just enjoy playing a balanced fight with others.
