I keep getting disconnected.

I keep getting disconnected almost every time I play this game. Some times it happens within 5 minutes of playing, sometimes it's 10 or 15 minutes into playing. I don't have these issues when I play CastleCrashers. Do I need to adjust internet settings or the way the game starts up? Anybody have any advise?

Ever since the minecraft skin went live, it seems like online game play has been really shoddy (practice matches are still ok). Its frustrating that Ronimo isn't doing anything about it.

All we can do is hope that Ronimo fixes this asap. I hate it when I'm 40 minutes into a game, about to win, and a disconnect message pops up. Waste of time.

I don't know why either, I'm finding myself always disconnecting, and as a result all of my stats and the ranking system is compleatly off. I thorized that it is because I'm playing on a mac, are any of you mac users?

It's not cuz of a Mac. It's the actual servers themselves. Heck, I'm playing from China right now, but that only affects the latency, and not enough to affect core gameplay. But I haven't had a full game with real people, start to finish, since the first day I installed this game (granted, I installed it about four days ago, but I've played a lot). I've had it where I'll be about two minutes from ending the game (if I'm losing, I'm usually Lonestar firing the bull like mad), and I'll get disconnected. I've also had it where it'll put me in the game and then disconnect me 10 seconds later, almost as if it's saying "Thank you for your interest in our program. Allow us to show our appreciation by lowering your ranking five thousand points. *boot*" Yesterday I was rank 9, 110,000. Now I'm down to 269000 cuz it keeps freaking booting me. Lortimus, you're not alone.

We need to get a mass petition signed for them to make fixing this their top priority. They can work on their new skins, characters, and levels later. There's no point in having them when we can only enjoy them in the "Select Your Character" screen for fear of plummeting in the rankings.

That's especially why I'm upset. I can't climb leagues again because I keep getting booted, and then I'm stuck with lower league players for about 10 minutes before I get booted. I usually set up the game for them to win, and then I don't reap the benefits of ranking up. Totally ruins the fun of the game.

It's never once happened to me. I've been left reconnecting for a frighteningly long time when a host leaves, but never have I disconnected.

Which means logically there has to be a difference between our situations. In other words, there's something on your end. Can't say if it's something within your power, like router settings, or something beyond your control, like your ISP, though.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I'm on a college campus, but they have it set to upnp and I'm hardwired into the wall as well. I can't think of anything else that would cause me to disconnect.
