If you want to mute an enemy player (this will stop taunts an text from showing up by that player), bring up the scoreboard and click the empty box.
But you know, the best way to deal with situations like that is to just not respond in the first place.
Rule two: do not respond to anything toxic in chat, with the exception of rule three
Rule three: excess ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and complaing can be responded with a simple "U mad?" best case scenario he shuts up, otherwise he gets mad, which can be funny as hell, and learns to shut up in future games.
if i player is being abusive, and i mean using really vulgar language towards you or others, i would first ask you to tell them to cool it, and if they do not, file a report.
in this game people think they can get away with using the most hateful words, and i've seen it get really bad.
i was harassed during my other game earlier by a teammate. this guy who late joined my previous match claimed he carried me, and when i told him that's hilarious, he got pretty vulgar and said i was a feeder. i guess he thought a fairy magically did all that damage to the other team and took out the droids.
i wasn't that upset over it though. after i destroyed the other team's turret on my own and got a team whipe out, he rage quit. his friend stuck around, and even with something like 10/2 against a good team his friend still said he carried me after we won. feels good, and i hope he watches both replays.
it's also not uncommon that people like that are terrible players in general, so you should feel sorry for them rather than getting in a fight with them.
