How to create a game?
Hey guys!

How do you create a game of your own? To be a host? I did buy the expansion and it looks great but can anyone guide me how to create a game with my settings?(stronger bots etc) Caus' when i create one and add the checkbox for everyone to join- noone does or its infinite loop for searching everyone.

Not that i dont like doing quick matches all the time all day long...

Thanks in advance!

Custom matches are exclusively private. You'll need to invite your friends into them.

The "Custom Games" settings is for private matches only. At this time, only users who go on the Steam overlay and select "Join Game" or accept an invite you sent to them to can join the match.

In the future, there are plans to add a "Custom Games browser" which will allow exactly what you wanted, however there is no ETA on this feature.

All public online matches are on default settings. Nobody can change these settings.

And when you join an online game with standard settings (via Battle or Quick Play on the menu), you have no control over the host, to be clear. If there's a game in progress or about to start, it'll dump you in that; if not, it will say "Creating game session..." and you will be the host of a new lobby.

The game tries to make the host of the game whoever will result in the least lag (geographic position, ping time, etc.), but the system could still use some improvement, which Ronimo is very dedicated to make happen.

Thanks guys- This clears bunch of questions from the list.

Was wondering why sometimes the game dropped me with elites in the middle or the end of session and that "host migrating" thing.

Hoping by the time "Custom Games browser" comes out the matchmaker will be greatly improved, game thinks i can keep up with the pros(diffrent game play) and put me in high league, but in reality 1 to 2 leagues down would be my sweet spot.

The game shifts over who is "Host" when it sees a major connection issue on the host's end.
However there are a few issues with how the migration works, so if the host leaves or disconnects during the migration, it can cause a match-wide disconnect.

Whatever league you're in, you'll find there's a little leeway. Generally about two leagues in either direction (say, if you're in league 5, you're liable to encounter players from leagues 3 to 7).
