When you dc/leave before the end you fall exactly 50 places in the league tables (when I tested it a couple of months ago). So it has more of an impact in early season and in higher leagues

Actually, it is more like a lose with a modifier applied to it: you probably got a coindidental number because I can assure you it is not 50 for me.

This was pre penny and 3 of us all from different leagues kept joining and quiting (appologies to those involved). Each time we dropped by exactly 50 places. Maybe they have changed that now, I'll have to test it out

It might be 50 places that you drop. Though it should be varied since other players will be winning and loosing too. :-)
