In low leagues, it may be. But maybe not. Yoolip, for instance, seems to be overpowered against relatively inexperienced players, and he is in a DLC that costs money. But Ayla has also been a perpetual problem in that regard, and she is part of the base game. Similar things can be said about various other characters, including both base characters and DLC characters.

At higher levels of skill, balance tends to be more even.

In general, I'd say it's only P2W insofar as the base game costs money, which of course it does. That is to say, it's not really P2W.

It isn't the worst Pay to Win game, but if you want to play on a competive scale, you simply will need the DLC nauts.

I give it a 3 on a scale to 10, where 1 equals not P2W, and where 10 equals 100% P2W (Like some "Free" to play games).

You indeed dont NEED to have those 8 nauts, BUT they will increase your playstyle a lot, since some are needed to counter specific nauts/builds.

There's already been lots of competitive nauts tournamtens and there's the weekly brawls etc.

This game has a lot of competitive but only the top players take part cus it takes effort to find and get in to it.
