i dont like having to recommend this game as "Yes" or "No", as it really depends on your preference.
Stuff i liked:
-the concept of moving the stage/environment around to solve the puzzle, very interesting and unique
-interesting choice of black and white scheme
-super cool mc escher inspired levels/art
stuff i didnt like:
-repetitive music ( it gets maddening after awhile, guess it corresponds with the theme, ha! )
-no transition into difficulty. it goes from pretty easy, then suddenly nosedives into really, really hard. Like, unenjoyably hard. The difficulty level of the game's later stages kicked my head into the cold, hard unforgiving ground
-lack of story/incentive to continue:
This is a personal preference, as some people find the satisfaction of solving a puzzle enough motivation to go on. However, i am not one of those fancy MENSA's who get a kick out of solving sudokus, etc. i like it when a puzzle game has a story as incentive to continue, kind of like how portal gave off bits of the story as rewards for solving a stage. It made you want to finish the game and find out what the heck was goin on. This game, does not do that, it just gives you puzzles to solve. You finish one, and you do the next. for those who like a story alongside their puzzles, you will quickly find the novelty of the art to wear off and the puzzles become tedious, frustrating work.
TLDR: depends on what KIND of puzzle game tickles ya fancy.
if youre a hardcore puzzle lovin' purist, this one's for you. But for those of you who like puzzle games with an interesting storyline, look elsewhere
