The Bridge is a puzzle game that takes place in a series of level that seems to be inspired by the drawings of impossible constructions by M. C. Escher. The game uses two main mechanisms that the player can use to progress in each level - walking and the ability to turn the worlds around. There's a series of submechanisms depending on the level as well, including gravity manipulation, inversions and more.
It's divided into 8 chapters (2 times 4) and as in most games the difficulty increases from each chapter. The first 4 chapter is in the "standard world" and the last 4 is in a mirrored world. The first 4 are challenging, but can be overcome with some thought, but the last 4 chapters are very, very difficult. Generally, though, each puzzle is well thought through and even levels using the same mechanisms are very different in design and the way they should be solved.
While the gameplay is nice what's the most impressive about this game is its aesthetic side - the music is great and the art style of the game is absolutely spectacular.
Overall, if you're into puzzles you're in for a treat. It's visually stunning and there's different challenges for everyone, although later levels are very difficult.
