How actually the mechanic of the IV chapter works?

I'am at the fifth puzzle of that chapter ''The Intersection'' and i did the other ones by trial and error. But i don't know clearly what the curtains and the ''negative'' ball-like critter does and how they work. Please don't spoiler the puzzle i'am in. Can anyone explain me that mechanic?

While white items have opposite gravity, the curtain lets you change the gravity orientation of some objects relative to your normal orientation.

Look at ball and the lamps on chains. All 3 have shimmering black/white combo, and all follow gravity direction set by the shower curtain thingy.

Use the lamps on chains as a guide to the drection set.

I'm stuck on the map after this one. :(

I breezed through the entire game but once I got to 4-6 The Archway it was like I hit a brick wall.

I breezed through the entire game but once I got to 4-6 The Archway it was like I hit a brick wall.

That's a pain.
I don't stuck on any level until hit that.
Then like all puzzles, when i stuck i leave and try again a few days after.
But in that case, i do that for two times and still stucked.

When i'm negative at the door i can't put the menace at the button, and when the menace is on the button i'm normal at the door.
