To Make It Clear.... Multiplayer is NOT online and CANNOT be played with your steam friends. >:C
Title is pretty clear...
Got this game to play with my friend since it says -Multiplayer- and it's just Local Co-op.

this may sound like the exact opposite; but i bought it for the very reason it was Local Co-op, i have wireless 360 controllers hooked up to my PC so can play local co-op games with my siblings from one computer alone, which I like. plus I can use Big Picture when doing so. Any way local co-op means just that; "same computer" gaming.

Yes, very clever, LOCAL co-op means same PC co-op, we all know that.
However, this games store page ALSO says MULTIPLAYER, implying there is actual online MP of some kind. It doesn't imply online co-op, but it DOES imply some kind of multiplayer is in the game.
I saw this just now in the store and came to the forums to check, as this was the only lego game I saw EVER that said MP, all the others just say LOCAL co-op.
Good thing I checked, and thanks to OP for posting this to let people know the store page has false information on it (once again).
Thanks steam/valve for managing to screw up another store page so that people buy a game without knowing the truth, just trusting that you will be honest with them.
I know this isn't totally valves fault, but they ARE responsible for what goes on their store page, so should know whether a description is fully correct or could be misleading or false in some way.
Not as bad as the recent warz shambles, but still not good.

If the fact this game's store page has the "Multiplayer" tag is really that distressing to you, why not contact Steam support to complain about it?
