Ok. I can talk a lot of ♥♥♥♥ about AAA games.
too many cut scenes. too many cutscenes where i ran right over a gun i'd use and was forced to use a retro 6 shooter. too many cutscenes where it turned into kill one guy, cutscene, kill 3 guys cutscene...and i get it. comic book game movie thing...
i guess i'm used to the oldschool max payne where you blow the hell out of an entire map load of guys and then listen to some stuff between levels.
plus the game crashes a lot and i'm on a nice rig late i7 with 970.
i got the game on sale so i can't complain, or did i already?
max drinks too much, it's annoying. john mcclane drank a lot and at least he had more fun.
end of the day...if you like cutscene shooters like metro - go for it. great game.
if you like openworld fps and lots of destruction/violence...maybe not the game for you.
i'll thumb it up because the graphics were sweet and i enjoyed slow motion headshots/throat shots and the bits after where i could unload on some jerk who was runing my time with 20 rounds through his neck and groin.
i think this was the only game i played where i got annoyed and enjoyed killing someone ingame.
i changed my mind, it gets a thumbs down. the entire game is like this. i thought it'd clean up as if the first few chapters were like a prelude to chaos. they weren't. plus i can outdrink max payne. what a ♥♥♥♥♥. oh and don't talk ♥♥♥♥ about my hours played i picked the game up where i left off on a friends pc with dual 970's where we amped the graphics so high it actually looked next gen. put in a good 14 hours railing through the rest of the game..but still. . .leave cutscenes to call of duty where they belong
