FIXED - Max freezes when picking up weapons

I'm on the first level with the first enemies. When I pick up a weapon, or when Max goes into bullet time, his character animation freezes and breaks the game. Has anyone hard of this before? Perhaps I should capture a video and post it.

FIXED - I installed all 1.5GB of patched from Rockstar and the game functions normally.
