Rockstar Social Club No connection to the internet

Every time I attempt to create sign into Rockstar social I get an indefinite loading procedure. And when I try to create a new account I am greeted with a message saying I have no connection to the internet. Sadly I cannot play the game without signing in. I have been having this issue for the past three hours or so and I've searched for many fixes and nothing seems to work. After looking at the forums here on the Steam pages it appears this is an issue for everyone due to the release of GTA:V.

Currently I'm looking for a way to bypass Rockstar Social and finding a way to activate and play this game in offline mode. Does anyone know of a way to do this? If so I would much appreciate the help and in the time being I'll do my best to find a solution to this issue and if I do find a fix I will post it here. Any help is appreciated.

What I did is disable all my firewall settings. After that it worked. I would suggest turning them on again afterwards. This didn't seem to change me from logging in. You just have to do it once.
