yeah its a little tought against high levelers, with all their shiny guns, attachments and perks. best advice to go dual m1911 as soon as possible, you will be surprised how much damage they do especially if you aim towards the head. Otherwise, its learning and suffering through it.
I believe the first 5 levels you can only select the default load out. After you leveled up to 6 (or 10 I'm not sure) you can create your own weapon load out. One thing is important which is your weight. If you choose a low weight load out you have infinite stamina (always sprinting and move out the line of sight of an enemy player very quickly) and quick health recovery. Downside is that you have very little hitpoints which means you are very vulnerable. And the other hand you can go as heavy as you like and wear very powerful guns and bulletproof protection (vest and helmet) and fill all the 3 burst slots. You can eat more bullets but you will move pretty slowly (staminate depletes quickly and health generates slower).

I would suggest that you as a beginner create 2 or 3 different load outs with different weight (light, medium, heavy) and then try to see which playstyle fits you best.

One more tip: if you want to dual wield you have to reach a certan weapon level. The best thing you can do is dual wield 2 different weapons so they both level up to 10. After that choose your favourite guns with attachments.

Yeah, that's another thing. Mix and match the weights and weapons. Being able to change up loadouts mid-game is helpful. A hazmat loadout is needed in some cases. Combine anti-flame, anti-stun, and a gas mask to protect yourself from trolling griefers.

Again, it all depends on your playstyle. I have only 2 or 3 load outs but they are all light weight. That means dual wielding with all weapon attachments, 1 burst and 1/2/3 items (which work together e.g. bandages and vampire fangs). So with my playstyle I can beat heavy weighted players and if I'm "lucky" I can kill 2 or 3 players, who are grouping together, in one go when I attack them or they attack me. On the other hand I am quite vulnerable against players whose guns have a larger range oppsed to my dual pt92. But I compensate that with infinite sprinting and flanking. And of course a lot of practice...
No offence taken but I can turn it around: opposed to players like me (I never denied anything btw about being a "runner"who zig-zag) there a campers with sniper rifles which in good players hands are as deadly as a lightweight playstyle. The only diffenrent I see so far is that sniper have less kills than "runners" because a "runner" is going into combat while a sniper stays in one spot waiting for targets (which I think is ruins the game even more). Btw I think, and that is my opinion, that when to players engage each other while running, shooting, using burst is far more exiting than a "runner" vs sniper.

Sure, you recommend 'other playlstyles' but according to you there is only one way to play multiplayer and that's exploiting it.
Not completely true. When I was a beginner I used different playstyles based on 3 weight classes. But I pretty quickly had more feeling with a lightweight charactar than a medium or heavy weight. Even in other games I often go for a low weight charactar. Nothing wrong with that and the games allows it.

I wonder though, maybe you can explain to me why a lot of players curses other players who use dual wield? They say that I should only carry one PT92 or 1911 and nothing else. I am missing the point in this...
Thanks to you for all the useful information. I think it's the best to have a weapon set with more heavy weaponset as otherwise you have no chance to damage high leveled players at all. or do you think that sprinting is that important (i mean in emergency you can still try to look for cover somewhere). guess i'm trying to find the set which i like most. Thanks again for your help - one last question: as i'm completely new i don't understand what overloading is about and how it works. could somebody explain it to me in a nutshell?

I partially agree. Minus infinite running and the unrealistic burst.

What is an unrealistic burst?
For example, I use the burst bubble (a burst that prevents other players using their burst), sometimes the slow motion burst and seldom the big heart burst. Is one of them unrealistic?

Overloading a character 'greatly' reduces health and stamina regen, and your character moves slightly slower. It happens when you select too much gear in the loadout screen [supposedly the worst thing you could possibly do!...[/quote]

So what would you suggest as a good load out? Is it a medium load out because you don't like light weight players like me who are "exploiting" the game and no heavy weight because that's the worst thing you can do...?

I'll take a guess...

Maybe dual wielding weapons is overdone and it kills the immersion of the game when 9/10 players do that routine to the end of every match [in a rampaging AI fashion], in all matches?

The single-player AI [on hard] is funner to play against and often exhibits a more realistic behavior than most people do in multiplayer. Multiplayer has it's 'fun' moments but they're rare.

I think I understand you a little bit. Howerver, and again that's just me, I don't have the feeling that it is a routine for most players and also I don't think they are rampaging. However, I feel players are rampaging when they switch to grenade launchers/ law/ rpg when they feel they are losing to much (not making a lot of kills and thus using such weapons to have some "lucky" kills. Of course they will say it was no luck but skill :p )

Btw I like the way we talk about this, just a normal discussion with diffenrent opinions. And also using respect and not using bad language! :)

When I have some time, I will make a screenshot or something like that. But I would suggest to try it for yourself in the load out screen to create diffenrent load out. You can easily see when you are light weight or to heavy...

I would suggest not take cover to much because I sometimes kill players in cover who are only looking in 1 direction without watching their backs...! Also sometimes your head is visible and thus a headshot is possible!
