Things that I have no idea why they would do to this game
Why cant I quit during a cutscene? I have to ctrl-alt-delete myself out of max payne 3 during a cutscene, which on average there are about 487 cutscenes per mission with each cutscene being atleast 15-35 minutes in length.

Why cant I turn off the stupid getting downed when I have painkillers thing? Sometimes I can't even get a shot on the guy, AND YOU CANT LOAD A CHECKPOINT WHILE IN THIS SLOW MOTION 2nd CHANCE BULLCRAP. Whenever I get downed I either have to , shoot the dude, and then load my checkpoint, or wait until the 30 seconds of falling down are over. Whenever I get downed I consider that me dying and would rather restart from my checkpoint, f*** off with this 2nd chance casual ♥♥♥♥♥♥*t.

And why can I not crouch while standing up in cover? You will not believe the amount of times I have a Blitzkreig of 1000 enemies attacking me and all I have to do is take cover beind a wall, but when I do Max stays standing while in cover and I am shot at every conceivable angle, and this could be avoided if I could just crouch behind cover. BUT YOU CANT DO THAT UNLESS YOU TOOK COVER BEHIND A SHORT WALL THAT MAX AUTOMATICALLY CROUCHES INTO.

Rockstar, you almost had a perfect game

487 cutscenes per mission? Gosh, I hadn't counted. 15-35 minutes in length? Wow, I forgot to time them. 1000 enemies? Stupid, stupid developers for overwhelming gamers with a blitzkrieg. Dang, you almost had the perfect discussion post. One more exaggeration would have done it....Hang on; being shot at from "every conceivable angle." Yes! You did it! Perfect. I crouch in awe.

You sound like someone who browses message boards all day and tries to be sarcastic as much as possible. You are probably the person that makes people sigh in disappointment when they see you about to enter the same room as them.

No, I just wish people would be more precise, concise and honest. Sure, you've got complaints about the game but there are perfectly good reasons why Rockstar made it the way they did.

For example, the last-chance shot is a way to avoid reloads and allows players to enjoy (I say enjoy) more fluid and less interrupted gameplay. I'm not saying everyone has to like it the way they did it at all, but I did take issue with your exaggerations.

I'm sorry you took offense but you have to admit the invitation was there for a wit (no "t" on that) like me to jump in with lashings of irony (granted, bordering on sarcasm). Now I don't pretend to imagine the life of someone who exaggerates like that but I do like to defend my favorite games from discussion posts that strike me as unreasonable, and enter into debate about the merits of games.

And Max Payne 3 is one of my favorites; I think some of its features were groundbreaking and well worthy of inlusion, including the narrative loading screens that segue straight into gameplay.

Cover shooting does have its issues in this game, I agree. Some players have stated that it compensates poorly for rather mean lengths of bullet-time (which we all would like more of) and I recognize that is a valid criticism.

But hey, I'm guessing maybe I have outstayed my welcome in this room already, right? So that's it for me. This time round.
