Error linking social club account to Steam.
Launched MaxPayne3 for the first time. I have a RockStar Social Club account, I logged into it. I have a Steam account, I'm logged in. MaxPayne wants the accounts to be linked, that's fine. But I get an error stating "There was an error linking your social club account to Steam." Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a solution?

Okay. Managed to fix this for myself. Seems Rockstar have a problem. By logging into my account on a web browser and changing my NickName (a previously unknown field?) it will now allow me to link my accounts. What a pain in the a***.

when i went to the social hub where you are suppose to link account. There are others like Facebook, PSN, Twitter but no steam ??

Once i quitted social club and max payne, and logged back in, it linked my account. Strange.. Least its working now.

i got it to work :) just restart your Max Payne 3 and it should work. Weird but yeah
