Failed to contact Key Server
I dont know why everyone is complaining so much. They got an amazing deal and It will get sorted. There are a ton of games on sale and only a select few are having issues. Check out another game or complain about the free Left 4 Dead 2 you got. Patience is a virtue and I am waiting this one out. Acting like a bunch of spoiled brats

Spending money, downloading 30 gigabytes, which takes a while for a lot of people, and not being able to play for nearly 3 days so far. And have you seen the forum? It's hardly a "select few." That and the fact that this has happened with Max Payne 3 in it's previous sales, along with a number of other games.

I'd say it's a justified annoyance.

Maybe you are ok with people taking your money with nothing in return but most people are not. Patience has nothing to do with it. We paid for something and so far have not recieved anything in return. No word as to when we will be able to use what we purchased. This isn't a preorder, this is straight up sale (An exchange of money for goods) Goods have not been delivered.

Yeah it was a very good deal. But Tahra has a point. We paid for it yet we see nothing in return. The store should simply be prepared to respond to the sales it puts on.
This waiting "for keys to be issued" simply leaves many gamers with a bad notion of the store.
But since nothing else can be done, I placed a question in the support system btw, I'm just patiently waiting.
Their answer was strictly a PR response which said they were working on it to fix it asap.

Sure we paid for this. I am stoked at the deal I got. And I'm still not complaining. Why?
First off I never said I was ok with not being able to play this game. I am just not stressing over it.
Secondly, this sale has been going for a little while now and common sense would indicate that Steam may be a llittle busy with an abundance of new users and purchasers given that alot of people are buying alot of games.
Thirdly, the majority of companies around the world tend to enjoy their christmas holidays and downgrade their staff to a minimun that way people can be with their families. Unfortunately It has a hindrance on consumers but I am a reasonable man. I had problems connecting my new PS4 to PSN and had problems connecting to Final Fantasy XIV servers. Am I complaining. No. It will be resolved. You will get your money back or get your key. And you will probably still keep complaining. I will continue being happy with the other purchases I have made and have a great holiday gaming season.

FACT: People that complain less, worry less. So FYI, the happier you are the better off you will be. The glass is half full with a Refill on the Way!!!

I have waited about a week on this key; I check once a day but I'm glad I have a ♥♥♥♥-ton of new games to play; but I have paid for this and I have waited a week. This is beyond a joke and Valve or Rockstar need to pull their finger out...

we are allowed to complain if we purchased the game over a week ago and still can't play it.

This is utterly unacceptable. I can sometimes get the game to work (used that trick to find it in the hardcoding) I worked in corporate america for 6.5 years and development as well. This whole debacle is completely due to the fact people screwed up in multiple places and likely no one in charge will be taking any blame. They will shift that to those who actually work. Too bad this type of failure is everywhere now.

Complain, complain complain. Consumers MUST stand up. Trust me, despite what anyone says, after enough screaming is heard, someone high up will usually panic and start forcing changes. I saw it happen several times.

almost week of waiting and this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥s dont lift a finger becouse its christmas and new year they sell games and leave us with problems ehh its the last time when i buy games on steam. its the second time when i buy game and waaaaiiiit for their stuff to respond ....nice christma $%^&&^&^%
