And if they were to add this, the bullets could fly over the whole map so you would get shot by someone you can't even see. Have you tought about that?
And I appreciate your oppinion but I think it would ruin the gameplay...
The whole system just does not work. It gives a MASSIVE advantage to the host and anyone with near perfect ping. Anyone with the slightest amount of lag isn't going to hit jack unless they're lucky.
And no Single Player.
I'm beginning to think someone needs to be fired at AHS. Though I'm officially creating The Paradox Rule in gaming.
The Paradox Rule: If a game is published by Paradox Interactive, but not developed by Paradox Interactive, then it will be crap with 95% certainty (a.k.a. The Magicka Exception).
Also Ultimate Sadistic Creature, this game doesn't have a very large difficulty curve at all. Here was how I learned to play: I did the training. Bam, I knew how to play and started kicking ass. The hardest part of the game is learning all the different strategies you can do with different characters and loadouts. I don't do any strategizing and I still end up pretty high on the score board. A single player would be probably impossible to implement because the bots might just end up having perfect aim, or terrible dodging skills. The game relies on players to be fun.
Sounds less like lag and more like you need to lead your shots. From what I have gathered (don't have the game - looking into it as a possible purchase) that your shot - whatever it is you are shooting - only damages where you clicked to shoot it when the projectile arrives.
OP - it sounds like you are shooting one place - and by the time your shot gets there your target has moved and it doesn't hit. But that's not lag - that's called leading your target - and it is what you have to do in real ife with a real gun and a real moving target.
Most games have instant shot trajectory - there is no bullet travel time to the target at all - it sounds like you just need a little practice.
In early builds of the game, they actually did use "general direction" aiming, and they apparenlty found it against their liking.
And Arrowhead themselves have gone on to say that when it comes to decision making, they're more likely to take the road less traveled, even if it means going against the majority, so you're either going to have to get used to the aiming (which wouldn't be nearly as bad if they'd finally fix the horrible netcode) or move on to other prospects.
