Alaskan aerocaches
How long will it be before the Aerocache of the Day runs through the Alaskan locations again? It seems as though the Hawaii ones have been repeating themselves lately.

If you missed the announcement on Monday, we are currently working through brand *new* Aerocaches - and they are all currently located in Alaska. You can see more about it here[news.microsoftflight.com].

Thanks for that. I noticed today's AOTD was a bit odd...3/5 difficulty, yet only 200XP?

Yes, we noticed that as well. After we posted it, of course.

On a related note, are there any plans on making the Curvature Of The Earth aerocache accessible? Another user found a glitch to get up to and over 100K ft, but it only works at the edge of the map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPO98qnX_1M

Also, why is Cone Island in the list of Hawaii Aerocaches?

The Alaskan aerocache of the day for Ernie Lake is seriously bugged. The aerocache is indeed over a lake, but it is not over Ernie Lake which is quite a way to the north and west. It is not hidden 50 mi NE of Bettles as the description says but more like 30 mi NW of Bettles. (BTT VOR: radial 289, range 31.5 mi.) Any explanation please?

I logged in to comment on the Ernie Lake AotD ... so I will simpy concur with the comment above from Stormerne. (These inaccurate AotD `hints' sure do make it tough to find them)

Another flawed aerocache description today. It reads:
"Along the Egegik River. About halfway between Egegik Bay and Becharof Lake".
That is wrong. What would be correct is this:
"Along the Naknek River. About halfway between Kvichak Bay and Naknek Lake."

Fortunately this time, the right river is close to the airfield, as is the aerocache. But this intern-quality geography is getting a little tiresome.
