Trimming???

Im doin the tutorial mission where you get introduced to trimming while landing.
Im supposed to be able to "land hands-free"; what does that mean?
Because when I try to release the flight stick, the nose goes down annd I have to use the flight stick again.

that's what trim does, if you have correct trim, you will be flying in the direction you want without your hands on the stick... if you are diving when you let go of the stick, trim up (try holding down the trim up button for 2 seconds to start, once your close, use taps of the button to fine adjust).
