I had been hearing lots of great things about this game, so I grabbed it along with the sequel during the Steam Winter Holiday Sale.
I haven't played any point-and-click puzzle/adventure games in a long time, but I am VERY impressed with this one. The sound track is great, the artwork is GORGEOUS, & I really loved the characters and story.
I played on easy mode, but even so I found the puzzles very challenging & difficult (maybe I'm just dumb though?), & it was very fun & frustrating to try to figure them out. The solutions are practical yet not obvious at all, which makes solving them deliciously satisfying.
The story ended in a way I did not expect at all, but that I loved. REALLY glad I decided to pick up the sequel at the same time I bought Chains of Satinav however, because the ending leaves you at a cliff hanger (in my opinion). I can't wait to check out Memoria & the other games set in this fantasy world.
I've noticed that some other reviewers are giving this game a hard time over the voice acting, but I personally found the voice work very enjoyable.
Absolutely recommended if you like challenging puzzles, lovely music and artwork, and an engaging story with entertaining characters.
