Trouble Playing on Mac

Was wondering if anyone else had this trouble. I played few times and when I went back it would not open. Keeping getting an error stating "pointer being freed was not allocated". I've had steam check the files, I've deleted and reinstalled, rechecked, reset all settings, updated OS, updated XCode, but never got the game to work again. I contacted the devs but never heard back, I'm not surprised since this is an older game I guess. Anyone else encountered this problem?

Never heard of this problem. That's a C memory allocation error. Maybe something is corrupting in memory, or some new system library is incompatible.

I really don't think we should let devs get away with " this is an older game I guess". If they're still selling it, they should still be supporting it, period.

If you're still having this issue, try deleting the config.ini file. I had the same problem you had and it seems to have worked for now. Your reinstall may not have touched the config file and it's one that regenerates anyway once you run the game again. Go into your Library, Application Support, Daedalic Entertainment, Satinav and you should see your config.ini file. Delete it, run the game. It might open in a window with the wrong resolution (that might be because I tweaked things in config before deleting though) and you may have to adjust settings and restart. The restart should work though.

I'm getting the same problem (2 years later!!), it's very troublesome and should be fixed, and until then should be documented somewhere easier to find than this thread.
