Amazing adventure game
One of the best adventure games ever, with the theme, story and gameplay harkening back to the golden days of the genre. Yes, the speech animation is a touch rudimentary and there's the infamous Daedalic "entering the scene" lag but the story's great, voice acting is really good (ubelievably so, compared to the horrors of Whispered World) and the hand-drawn graphics are amazing.

The game is easily worth its full price but now that it's on sale every fan of adventure games who does not have it yet should do himself/herself a favour and get it.

Daedalic is fast becoming one of my favourite gamedev studios, right up there with Arcen Games.

Yeah, it's a great game; hopefully more people will pick it, and its sequel, up. I would love to see more like them.

I agree, I really enjoyed this one and I'm looking forward to playing Memoria when I get in the mood.

You mean every daedalic game has this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ performance? How and why is that even possible. ♥♥♥♥ Daedalic!

Yes, the enter-the-scene screen lag has, so far, been present in every Daedalic adventure game I played. I haven't played Memoria much yet so can't speak for that title, but Deponia suffers from it as well. Although it is much less pronounced than in Whispered World.

I think its the way of setting up hotspots..a quick memory check and then putting the correct hotspots so used ones or ones that are not active yet etc...

I agree. It's amazing, I wish all point & click games are like this. I love how the puzzles are fairly simple and logical which keeps the game flowing
