Mildly Disturbing
I bought the game on sale and I got my moneys worth. It was what it promised and turned out to be a simple trail and prose/music experience. While I liked it, I found it all a bit disturbing. The solution of the game didn't really reveal who the characters were, what the dynamic was between them or what the allegories referred to. I'll run through them again, and for the haunting element of the game, and the music. But eh, I'm a sappy sort.

You're suppossed to figure that part out, and form your own opinion.
You get slightly different narration each time you play, so on your next run through you'll hear some new information. I think that there are certain items that change with every game as well, so the more you play, the more clues you get.

I'm still not 100% on what I think the game is about. I had some definite ideas the first time around, but by playing it again and then reading some other people's ideas I can see that there is a LOT of room for interpretation and, best of all, I don't think anyone's ideas are wrong.

I agree with you. While the game looks beautifull and music is great, story is sad and repeating this game many times isn't that mood appealing. I played it 3 times and that's enough for me...
The story not making sense is intentional; The developer wanted people to discuss it and come up with their own conclusions.
A man has been on an island and is writing in his diary to somebody who will never find it. He or someone he knew had been in a car crash and for whatever reason the the name of a super tough metal whose recipe is long forgotten is scattered everywhere. He journeys through the island and you can see that his ship had appearently crashed there long before, long story short he kills himself and the bird at the end symbolizes his free spirit, the super creepy "Come Back..." at the end plays (Try going into the water on another playthrough) and the screen cuts to black, my computer must have froze because it stayed like that till i shut my moniter, the absence of fear scares the hell out of me.
Thats pretty much what ive got to offer, here is a small tent
