I just stumbled acroos this game in the green light section and it looks amazing. It was recently greenlit on steam due to be relesed somtime next year It sounds very similar to Dear Esther.

That sounds like it's set up to be a much less saddening version of Dear Esther, possibly made gorgeous by a combination of something like the Cry engine, or maybe frostbite?

Not sure what exactly the story would be.

Sounds interesting, but the screenshots, and video show nothing worth plaything. I didn't even impress me as much as Dear Esther. It is concept, not a game. Concepts can fail to achieve their intention, or veer dramatically off course.
