Will there be linux suport? heard about it erlier.

I'm torn on If I should buy it on sale or wait for the real linux release.

Yep, Rob was working on Linux support. Thing is - he was doing it before Valve did an official move to Linux and was really happy to hear that Vale are porting different builds of Source to have Linux support. So i guess, given that Portal 2 doesn't have support for Linux yet and Dear Esther is using Portal 2 build of Source, as soon as Portal 2 gets ported, Dear Esther will follow.

I was tempted to buy it because it is on sale, but I must admit that not having a Linux version is a deal breaker for me, my "gaming" PC is Linux only.

Yes!!! That's the main point for me, too!

I don't want buy a game without Linux version. I only buy games with nativ (without Wine and without Adobe Flash) Linux support.
