I'm in the middle. I grew up in a house that was built in 1868, and when I was younger I swear that things were off, and I would have claimed that ghosts existed then and there.

Now that I'm older, not so much.

I had ONE experience once in a Missouri graveyard. Shiver. But who really knows??

My father told me in his old house, (Which was an old farm house from the 1800's) every now and then, he smelt perfume in the hallways. Plus, My grandmother also saw the supposed ghost, she woke up and saw it staring at her... Spooky.

I would say I don't NOT believe in ghosts than I truly DO.

I've never had any ghostly experiences (and I hope I never do), but who am I to say what's out there and what isn't.

Yes, with absolutely no proof or reason to. Of course, I could be wrong, but in that case, I'll be dead at the time I would expect to find out and won't know any different.

The whole idea of ghosts starts to break down when you look into the specifics of them. Take clothes, for example. How come people see ghosts with clothes? Did their clothes die too? Also consider the relative position of the earth compared to our sun and even our entire galaxy. The earth is never going to be in the same position it was in before. This is because we're hurling through space around our sun, which is whirling around our galaxy, which is flying through space at its own speed. So if a ghost was haunting a specific area, a fixed point in space, then we wouldn't have to worry about them cause they'd be out in the cosmic void.

Your example cracked me up, but you bring up a good point. I'm not going to speak in absolutes, but if I'm to choose between ghosts being real, or ghosts being in the observer's head, I'll choose the latter. It's the simplest, more logical explanation.
