How do you invite people to your Faction?

Im duke of Verona and married to duchess of Huga ass Tuscany (im using CK+ so i wanna make kingdom of Lombardy) i wanna be independent so i made a faction and i wanna know if i can invite people and how?

Good question, I've not seen any option to do it - I think perhaps they just join if they like you enough (if its a faction to benefit you personally) or if they agree with your goals (for example, Independence). Yet I've heard of people getting ultimatums from AI leaders demanding they join the faction...this has never happened to me...

You can assign your spymaster to 'Scheme' in any region, which gives a chance of firing an event increasing the liklihood of a character joining your faction.

Ah good point, I forgot about that - I even tried it once but never got an event, then got so caught up in other stuff I forgot all about it! Thanks for reminding :)

you put it in their capital? like i know that u can use that to stop em from making factions or joining em. thall be more useful since by nature i cant stand having a person above me....in any situation...

There is no command to do it. You have to 'scheme' with your Spymaster which will give you a small chance each year. I created a faction to become the King of England (1079 AD as Harold I's son). I looked at the most powerful duke/count that liked me more than our liege and prioritized my Spymaster there. I also 'upped the ante' by giving him a gift (I could afford it). I looked at the next most powerful duke/count that liked me more than our liege and gave him a gift, too. Can't say it was effective or not, though. Soon after civil war broke out (Robert I deposed) automatically due to other events. Not enough time passed to prove/disprove the technique. In theory it seems it was sound (again if you can afford it). At the time I had 300 Gold, 1200 Prestige and 180 Piety if that makes any difference.
