I extract the in the folder "mod" of the game, When I lunch Crusader's King II, I choose A game of Thrones Mod, but the game crashes. What can I do?

Thanks Gielpy!
Gonchitaro --> Make sure you deselect the things in the DLC section. The only thing that must be selected is the game of thrones mod.

Sometimes in the game does crash ( not often for my part ) but i don't think that is what you are talking about so make GoT is the only thing selected in the launcher.

Is this mod online playable?

You're welcome, Herbal Terrorist.

Gonchitaro --> Also, if you reinstall the mod, make sure to delete the old files, don't just write over them. Makes a difference in the checksum.

The mod is also crashing for me, on startup--I can't even get into the game. Have the mod checked, none of the DLC for the game or anything is checked. Just installed for the first time so it's not a reinstall thing. Any ideas?

Why would you disable your DLC? GoT mod is fully compatible with all the DLC AFAIK.

Sir Alestair Oakheart said it might help. Incidentally, I tried it with all the DLC on as well. Still crashed immediately.

I would like to reccomend that mod to everyone who enjoys CK2. I actually bought the game FOR that mod, but the normal game was so good that I only just got round to trying it : D (also became addicted to the games of Paradox in the process)

It did not disapoint. It is by far the best Game of Thrones gaming experience available to date.

Not sure why people are having issues with it, sorry about that, but its definitely possible to get it running, and worth persevering to get it fixed.

Id have no advice other than the usual, except I had an issue with HOI3 (maybe similar laiuncher?) that meant I had to manually allow HOI3 launcher program in the firewall.

Could be worth a try. Allow the modded program version through, might not be recognised as the same thing by the firewall.

Good luck.

I'm wondering if it might be because I'm running the Mac version of CK2. The Mac port is... not the best I've seen, let's say that. Could it be interfering with mods?

Not that I've heard of. Just to be clear, the game works fine when you're not using mods, right?

I'm having the same problem. It's really very frustrating. I'm using a macbook, OS 10.7.5. I've tried playing the mod on the windows partition. I'm not quite sure how to mod the game on the mac partition.

After the last update the mod crashes whenever I try to load it :(
