Next DLC Ideas

Ck2 has been more than great as a game and many player cant stop playing. Paradox Interactive makes the game even greater by adding DLC's like sunset invasion, legacey of rome, and old gods. Paradox recently announce two more DLC's coming out for this great game. So my question is whatr are you ideas for the next DLC's, and what would you like to see from them?

A theocracy DLC has to happen, probably with a focus on expanding the Papacy.

it would be cool if you could play as the pope and try to make the papal states. the plots and intriuge in the catholic church at this time would be an exellent ck2 playthrough

I doubt a pope DLC, Theocracy maybe but i wouldnt understand it.
Arent the christian bishops and such not allowed to have children or even be married?
You dynasty cant be pope forever. I can see a DLC that will expand the Christian/Orthodox and Muslim religions. Or that might just be a patch.

I agree theocracies don't really work with a dynasty game.
They should probably add a cardinal system and a way of electing the Pope.

Also they should add more to the other pagan faiths apart from the Norse.

Cardinals would be interesting.

If they could make a dynastic theocracy system, that would be interesting, too. I can't envision it, but I have faith in the team. :)

thats true you still have to keep your dynasty running, however many countries like france and hre had their own cardinals and appointed them to the papacy. Mabey the idea of electing a dynasty member as a cardinal and then trying to get him to be pope would be cool although some may think its the same as antipope system

they can easily add in theocracies the way of designating the heirs.(as a player) or just put the position of a pope as player based. I would love to see revival of all those dates religions even christians under muslims who definitely had a following in many countries. Also, espionage could be greately upgraded in all realms. The last thing would be to add some new fantasy setting or event to surprise everyone.

I wish those DLCs would be free for once....just to show us appreciation that we support them.

After all, they did earn a load of moneys from us...

They'd actually have to change quite a lot to let you play as Pope. Since Pope is an easy to locate character that always exists many scripts run events on this character, even the completely unrelated stuff, for example creation of Jomsvikings is triggered in this way.

Theocracies would be a nice inclusion. Not sure how they would make it work, but if they do, that would be awesome.

What I would love to see is a Naval Warfare DLC. Add some new technologies and maybe different types of ships depending on culture.

agreed. its stupid to have them unload troops with a few ships and you can't blockade them...

Seeing that they specifically stated that the Pope was going to be the only person that will never be playable, I doubt there will be a playable Pope DLC. Also, imagine getting spammed with the indulgence event from every catholic ruler. Though who knows what Paradox will do.
