No there is no North America, because it wasn't revelant for another 700 years. If you like fantasy games, try Fallen Enchantress or something.

There is not and there never will be. The closest thing would be the sunset invasion dlc, as it adds aztecs that steamroll through europe in mid to late game. That's as close as you are going to get to anything america.

The game woudlnt work at a functional level. CK2 is about the medieval feudal system. America never played by those rules.

It might be interesting to play a game in America as Aztecs or something, but it would be a totally different game :)

maybe if they add pagans then the whole world would be avaliable.

The kid was just asking a question, no need to bite his head off. You should play Europa Universalis 3. You'll enjoy that if you like an exploring/dominating game.

EU4 will be out in a while, I can hardly wait for that one! You can also make an American Empire out of Hearts Of Iron III, although that would be more work than fun.

Actually Leif Ericson discovered Vinland (thought to be Newfoundland) ca.1000 so it wouldn't be all that wierd. but for pure practical reasons i doubt they will make some DLC on that. plus the facts that there are things more apparently missing from the game. A modder could do it, but in my opinion demand for it really is to low. And personally, a feudal america does not really fit into a history sim for this era. even if some northerners knew it was there, they never really settled.

It's called "Western Hemisphere"

There is also a currently WIP mod that will let you play with the proper (native) cultures, religions etc. on the same map.
I'm too lazy to look it up, but you'll probably find it on the PI mod forums

EDIT: ok it was on the front page so here you go:

there is terra normanorrum which adds north america http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?590747-MOD-Terra-Normannorum-%28Development%29
because it was relevant to the vikings

The wierd thing here is the empire of USA idea. They could add America but it would have to be native america. No USA title! That just wouldn't work with the whole medieval system.

To be honest, the main reason I would want a North America map is as the core of an Emberverse mod (Stirling's series beginning with Dies the Fire)
