Crusader Kings II or Europa Universalis 3?
Both games have piqued my interest, and I'm growing bored of Civilizations IV. They look very similar in gameplay to me, so if anyone has played both games, please grant me some insight on both games. Thanks in advance!

I suggest Crusader Kings 2. The gameplay feels much more refined and the learning curve isn't as steep.

I own both but haven't really played EU3. I have around 100 hours on CK2 though. It is 100% worth it to get CK2 especially at 75% off. I'd just have to say don't get discouraged when you first start playing. It takes awhile to learn how to play. From what I've heard is EU3 is more combat based while CK2 is more about diplomacy and relations to other characters. Big civ and total war fan but CK2 completely blows those two out of the water when it comes to the gameplay depth.

I really enjoy EU3, played it for hundreds of hours.
But I find CK2 to be just straight better. There's always something to do, no downtime, and it's just generally more immersive.

By the way, EU4 is due out this year. It's looking like it will also be a fantastic game.
