Demo will not start

I have been really interested in trying this game, but it fails to run on three different computers, all windows 7. one computer will load the game but its just a blank screen with the cursor (slightly older laptop, so it might be a video card) I can live with out it on that computer.

the other two do the exactly the same thing one on a desktop and the other on a laptop. I download the game and install with no problem. but when I click on the play button it does nothing, like i never hit it, if i spam the button it will say it's running, but that's it, nothing in the task manager.

I have restarted both machines and restarted Steam both graphics card are up to date, any thoughts?

You did not give hints about your hardware. What do you use?

on the desktop i have a AMD Athlon II x3 435 processor
4gb of Ram
windows 7 64bit professional
and a Nvidia geforce gt 610


on the laptop/netbook its a Asus pu 1215N pu17 with 4 gb of ram instead of the normal 2 running window 7 32 bit
