Sometimes, when i want to declare the war to a character, i cannot do it because there is this message below. what sort of event can gen erate this message ?

That's either a bug or a bad installation. Are you getting the right checksum on the main game menu, ICBN? If not use the Steam client option to Verify Game Cache Files.

no, i don't think that it is a bug or a bad installation because this message appears in a bulle when i put the mouse on execute when i want to emprisonne the character .

I don't follow your logic - why would that mean it's not a bug?

That must be a kind of labell, which should be replace by more understable text in the user's language.

anyway, the people you want to fight seems to be "immune", like for example vassals wich gave you an ultimatum and you say no, and you can not attempt anything against him untill he declares war. Try again to declare war 20 days later. If you still can't, that must be something else..

Correct. In other words, a localisation bug.
