Problem with marrying my daughter
Hey everybody. I am King of Ireland and Wales. At my court is a guy that has a claim on the Kingdom of England. I marryed him matrilinearly with my daughter so that their firstborn son (who will become King of England after I won the war against the current King of England) will be of my Dynasty (Au Brian). But when the war ends and my former courtier has become King of England, my daughter (his wife) remains at my court while he resides at his own court in England, so that they will never produce any children. I can't figure out how to fix this. Can somebody help me?

Only on these forums could you get a topic like that without it getting weird!

As for your problem, I'm afraid I'm not really sure what's going on there...
It probably doesn't matter. I played as the Duke of Gelre (in the Prince and the Thane mod, admittedly), and was married to the Countess of Champagne. The Duke was in the Holy Roman Empire, the Countess in France. They had seven children. They must've had some kind of sperm-messaging service, I guess.

It is kind of weird though that she does remain at your court. And in vanilla you can't assign her a council position iirc (this would keep her at your court...), so that can't be it... Divorce is possible in Prince and the Thane, but again, not in vanilla, so not that either. You are sure she's not imprisoned or dead, right?

Maybe it has something to do with being married matrilinealy. Because if you arrange a matrilineal marriage, and the bride is at your court, but the groom isn't, he will move to your court. Maybe that is the reason she won't move to his court.... She's probably wearing the pants in the relationship :)

You could try quitting and reloading, sometimes that helps to straighten out weird stuff like that. Otherwise, I'm at a loss.

Yeah Dude, as you said, somehow it doesn't matter. Seems the guy's penis is 1000km long so that he can knock her up in Dublin while he is in England. Dunno. I thought it was a problem because she didn't get pregnant for 3 years and I was afraid he could die before producing a heir.

Finally it all worked out well. I'm not King of England yet because I forgot that England has strange succesion laws. But at least I have a nephew (who is of course also my vassal) now who inherited some counties and a claim on the throne.

Still have to figure out how I manage to concentrate all three kingdoms on one person in the end.
