Crusader Kings II

SAVED GAMES?
I checked my Paradox saved game folder but cant see any of my saves. I have Steam Cloud enabled, but even when I turn it off and try and save a game locally it doesn't appear....

Help?

How do you enable Steam Cloud?!?!?!
For Linux it's here
~/Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II/save games/

* As you say that you looked into your Paradox-folder… Is it possible that the files are hidden?
* Can you access your save-games through the game itself?

CK2 does not use Steam Cloud. You can switch Steam Cloud on and off for games that support it a) globally in your client-settings and b) with the right mouse button for every game itself.
Thanks for the reply...yes I can access the files through the game, and no the files arn't hidden. Its crazy!!!!
Ah, that's good news ;D
I think it might be a Windows problem then - try restarting your machine before you try different things. Good luck!
I dont think it is a W7 problem as I have done a complete search of my system using the EXACT file name...nothing, they are just not on my system!
Well, it's just a guess– but if you can access them from inside the game - then they are there! - But your system just does not show them to you…

Other possibility – you somehow look in the wrong directory.
Are you using mods? They can set their own save folder separate from the unmodded games. Instead of looking in the "Crusader Kings II\save games" they'd be in "Crusader Kings II\[mod name]\save games".
Go to the Paradox Save Games folder in Windows Explorer and click on the "compatibility files" button/link. That will take yu to the Virtual Store copy of that folder, where Windows has hidden them.
