Game Freezing
Am I the only one that has the issue of the game freezing? The music continues and the cursor works but nothing happens. Using a Mac, but playing on Steam. Usually happens when I have the window controling the concil or other....

Maybe if I play in window mode, but how do I do that?

Hey Kyles. I also use Mac version and have this kind of crash too. I have noticed (found somewhere in the Internet) that it stops crashing when you DISABLE dynasty shield dlcs (I believe it's the first that causes problems, but try to disable both). There were some solutions by manually copying some files (apparently, checki files integrity on Steam will not detect any problems), but I haven't tried that.

Hope this helps.

To play in Windowed mode, edit settings.txt to say fullScreen=no .

Ar you on patch 1.091? Most Mac bugs like this ought to be fixed in that version, failing that the next patch. We also find that using Mac OS X 10.8 helps a lot, as Apple's video drivers are far better than they were under 10.6 .

Figured it out, wont work on a Mac Air since the graphics card is an intel...odd how a simple game like CK2 needs a fancy graphics card....

the windowed mode helps!

Have the same issue here on OS X 10.7.5 in full screen mode and with CK2 version 1.10.

Yeah, maybe it will work if you get a new mac with a better graphics card....:(

Well, I have a Macbook Pro 5,3, which has a Geforce 9600M GT. Should be enough, and the specs also say it is. So, it doesn't seem to be a graphics card issue.

Actually the specs for the game are
Mac a écrit :
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 6750 / NVIDIA GeForce 320 / NVIDIA GeForce 9600 or higher
and your 9600m is obviously weaker than the required 9600 - mobile versions always are. That shouldn't mean it freezes or crashes though. Any chance of upgrading to OS X 10.8?
