CK2 vs EUIV
I only have played Ck2 and even though EUIV seems fun, I dont know the differences besides the time period and you played as a country instead of a dynasty, but thats it. Can somebody intruduce me?

EUIV is more about discovery and diplomacy than CKII is, since people will quickly gang up on you if you start expanding wildly...likey ou can do in CKII.
The HRE is a lot more fleshed out (Probably because it's weaker in the time period, though) and it's not as easy to start as a minor country and work your way up to being supreme world power of the world, like CKII allows.
However, since rebels are much different for EUIV, and at times just there to annoy you, you won't have to worry about internal politics as much as you would for CKII. None of your loyal country is going to take up arms so they can put some random dude with a claim on your throne because they can...They're much more likely to look up into the sky and see a comet, lowering your country's overall stability, so the peasantry now has a legit excuse to rebel over taxes.
There's more, of course, but I'm sure someone else can handle that.

The demo for eu4 is free if you want to try it out. It only offers three countries but I've played it a bit. I recomend trying that before buying the game and seeing the diffrences for our self.

Actually I'm pretty sure it was four countries:
Portugal, Venice, the Ottomans, and Austria...
At least, that's what I recall.
