Does this work well with Macbook Pro Intel HD 4000 graphics?
I loved Crusader Kings I on PC, but then I've switched to Macbook and would love to try CK II.

My Macbook should be otherwise good enough: SSD & 8 GB RAM. Just wondering about the Intel HD 4000 graphics if it's enough? I'm okay lowering gfx detail and eye candy...

I play CK II on my Windows 8 Laptop with HD 4000. The CPU is Intel i5-3317U (4 GB RAM).
It runs absolutely OK with 1366x768 and multisample level 0.

I was just wondering if it works? I've heard there's some problems with the Intel HD graphics cards on mac that doesn't appear on windows, but all I can find is old stuff so I don't know if it's been patched or not. Did you try it? Does it work OK?
the super important thing is your CPU. GPU is not an issue in this game whatsoever.
I use a macbook late 2009 and the only problem is that I it doesn't make much of a difference if I play on speed 3 or 5.
It should be fine, but you'll have to disable the steam overlay as you're on OSX.
That card has only 512mb of video ram, I think. The game's stated minimum requirement is 1gb on Mac/linux. It will probably play OK at the moment, but when the next patch/DLC comes out and the map is expanded to India it may play too slowly for you.
