Is your screens native resolution higher then 1024x768? The UI does not scale up. Be warned.
This is a game where the User interface (UI) is incredibly important. The higher the native resolution of your setup, the smaller the UI will become. It does not scale. It can be a major eyesore for high resolutions becoming almost unplayable.

Dude. 2560x1440 -- pop-up messages are ok, but the messages on the drawers on the upper right are crap-tastic to read... :(

There are mods that give you more readable fonts, if you want.

Cosmetic mods shouldn't, no. Only ones that change actual game data.
