The Story of King Konan of brittany

Im sorry if this is hard to read english isnt my first language its just something i decided to make based around the character i played as a few days ago.


1066 AD in which god in his great mercy gave duke Konan of brittany a vision about a united and strong nation of bretons in which he would rule suppreme over vast areas of land this dream would follow Duke konan later king konan all through his life until his death in 1103

1067 AD during this year in which Duke konan was in his early 40's the breton people had a good harvest and they flourished in food and gold. Duke Konan was married that year to Maria haraldsdatter of norway in which duke konan secured an alliance with the norwegian people
Other than that nothing which deserves attention in this story happended.

1068 AD Duke Konan sends his ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ son Alan off to the holy roman empire to ask for the hand of Kaiser Heinrich's sister Adelheid so they could be married in the holy church of Dol in Rennes and an alliance could be made betwen the breton and german people Kaiser Heinrich accepted this proposal.

1071 AD On the 27th of June Duke Konan received the great news that Duchess Maria had born a daugther named Brendana sadly Maria died 8 days after giving birth.

1072 AD Duke Konan marries princess Gunhild of england daugther of king harold the second in which he also secured an alliance with the english people.

1073 AD Duke Konan receives news that his chancellor Baldoen has Forged a claim on the county of Anjou.

1076 AD Duke Konan invites all his vassals to a feast which became infamous for the murder of a servant by mayor Jos of St Malo.

1078 AD Duke konan receives news that his wife duchess Gunhild had born a daugther the 10th january who was called Gladez.

1080 AD the day which Duke Konan had waited for in years he had just received news that france was in civil war the 5th april he declared war on france for the duchy of normandy and the county of anjou at the same time sending riders out to ask kaiser heinrich and king Harold to join him in his quest to conquer normandy from the french.

1082 AD after 2 years of hard fighting the french surrendered to the bretons giving up normandy and Anjou

1083 AD it was in this year that Duke Konan crowned himself king of Brittany and Normandy after this years of peace went by while King Konan gathered his strengt to once more march on the french.

1093 AD it was in this year that Pope Telesporus delcared a crusade for the holy land and encouraged all christian men to join it and fight to take back the holy city.

1094 AD King Konan decides to join the crusade and leaves for the holy land with 35 ships and 3400 Breton warriors to take back the holy city.

1095 AD The crusade ends with a victory for the christians Pope Telesphorus decides that Doge Domenico of Venice should be granted the holy land for his heroic efforts in the Crusade.

1095 AD While resting in the city of Barcelona on his way home from the crusade King Konan hears that his wife has born a healthy son named Gallmau. King Konan decides to set sail home immediately.

1099 AD After many years of waiting and preparing King Konan declares war on France to take the duchy of Anjou and Orleans sending riders out to ask his allies to send aid in his war against the french.

1101 AD King Konan emerges victorius over the french and takes the duchy's of Anjoy and Orleans and decides to celebrate by holding a grand tournament

1103 In which the great King Konan emerges to heaven after a long life leaving his son as the sole heir to the great kingdom he founded.

I always keep telling myself that I'll keep a log of the lives of my rulers. Sometimes I think back to some spectacular characters I've had and wish I was able to look back at everything they had done. If they created a DLC for the game that chronicled your ruler I'd buy it

im acually writing a small story about my people its more like a story then a log but its fun :D
