Count title revoked for no reason.
My title was revoked by my liege and my relations with him were fine. My piety and my prestige were both good and constantly climbing. Relations with my vassals and council were good.

Does anyone know why my title was revoked? I did not rebel, incite rebellion or attempt to press any claims.

You could be a perfect saint, and the AI might still revoke your title/s. It could be you had land in one of his duchies, or he wanted to try and curb your power. Most likely the former, as I don't think the AI is smart enough to do the latter.

Were you a single count? Was your liege a Duke or King with only one county in their particular duchy?
If both yes the AI often revokes counts titles to increase their power.

My liege had 3 counties I believe and his liege was the King of Norway. I held a county in his duchy so that might have been the reason for it.I also had just made an alliance through marriage with King William so perhaps he felt like I was gaining to much power. Not sure why since I could not call William into war and the alliance was tenuous at best since I was in Norway and he was in England. It isn't like King William is going to throw 20k troops across the pond to help some little county in Norway. The daughter I married had a weak claim on some crappy land southeast of England which I had no chance of attaining.

Next time I play this will give me incentive to eventually go to war with my liege and take away his lands.
