Decadent Warrior?
Decadent Warrior
"As a Muslim, crush a Decadence revolt"
0% of players have this. It's the least-earned Achievement.
Suddenly I'm scared of playing as a Muslim ruler. -__-

its probably just a bug, there will be at least somebody with a huge empire who has crushed one.
Andrew Ryan Feb 10 @ 8:28am
I was wondering if 'the larger the empire, the larger the event-spawned troops'?

Aye. I've seen recently huge Abbasid r.a.p.e.d by decadence rebels: 3x stack 50k each.

..the spawn is scalled to your military might, same as "Carrion for the vultures" event.

On the other hand, the empire was fighting also on some other fronts PLUS AI is pretty weak at quelling the rebelions; human player can easily deal with civil war spawned doomstacks od 250k troops, by allowing them to loose strenght, suffer attrition and then pick those armies one by one; while AI gather their own armies in single doomstack as well and happily throw them into the slaughterhouse.

My idea is that either it is a bug, like UltimateHobo has said, or simply almost noone plays Muslim on IronMan. Please consider, that achievs are pretty new addition into the CK2, even the most freqent one has only some mere percents of unlocks...while there are quite a lot of players with CK2 in their Library. Hence, this 0% can mean that still there are a few thousands who has achieved it; a great effort seen lost in this scale.

i imagine a lot dont play on ironman because it can be incredibly frustrating when a freak accident happens and you cant reload, or you lose a battle when you have a large advantage because the game dictates that your commander spent a week hesitating. it probably isnt undefeatable but by the sound of it they are pretty strong.
I dont own sword of islam but how hard is it to keep decadence about the threshold for this? Surely it isnt that difficult, i never see the AI with more than about 30% unless its ridiculous and at 90-100%.

It can really fast spiral out of control, but also it is pretty much manageable for human players...

...what, BTW may contribute to tiny number of those, who get this achievement - maybe just a few players get their Decadence so high, that it triggers the Decadence revolt.

Anyway, Decadence is gained due to traits, resulting events and losing wars. But mostly by every adult male of your dynasty without land title. That is, if you have quite a lot of sons, grant them titles, but then they will get a lot of sons, who will get a lot of sons...and suddenly there won't be enough place on map to grant them all land ^^

On the other hand, you can quite easily drop your Decadence score. Observe Ramadan, join Jihads, wage holy wars...still, there is one even simpler, although a wee bit brutal way: imprison everyone! ^^ Since as Muslim you don't get penalty for lawless imprisonment of your kin, you can simply "trimm" your family tree by puting almost every male member of it into the dungeon (imprisoned characters don't contribute to Decadence).

Like I said, it may look brutal, but its quite in accordance to how it looked in real life; check the biography of the first Ottoman Sultans: almost every one of them get to the throne by killing his brothers (or killed them later :>)
UltimateHobo Feb 10 @ 10:34am
you dont get penalised for imprisoning your kin! I need this! i hate my family, they are always conspiring to do some pointless endeavor and it gets on my nerves! just imprison everyone, constantly when i buy sword of islam i will be the most tyranical git ever, well to my family.
Johann Gambolputty of Ulm Feb 10 @ 10:45am
Well, only adult (AFAIK) and males, yet... yeah, can be nice. And women mean nothin in Muslim world anyway, so no big difference anyway.
Kageryuu Feb 10 @ 10:52am
I can also see many human players not even getting decadence revolts in the first place.
As was said already, you can imprison and execute family members pretty much without anyone caring, and you can give titles to relatives you want to keep around too.
Combined with the fact that a holy war or invasion pretty much resets your decadence it's pretty easy to manage.
You'd pretty much have to get your decadence high just for that achievment, cause it's just too much of a risk otherwise, and so easy to avoid.

I play on Ironman mode all the time and have crush a Decadence revolt a few times. It didn't give me the Achievement at all leaving me heart broken. This Achievement could be bugged~

I second this. I played as the Nasrid Dynasty in the Spanish Penisula. I fought off 2 decadence revolts against my dynasty, which were surprisingly not as bad as I thought they'd be, but didn't get that achievement. All other achievements worked for that game.
Parun Feb 16 @ 1:50pm
Havent got the achiev either after two revolts as Abbasid Empire
sparhawk1 Feb 16 @ 6:58pm
when does the decadence revolt happen? ive had it at 100% for like 6 months and it never happened then my chr died. Not that i wanted to happen just expected it but nothing.
Corsaire Feb 16 @ 7:22pm
Give it a few years and it should pop up. Once it does, you'll loose about 50 decadence points so you're not fighting the revolt at 100% decadence~
Warial Feb 16 @ 7:25pm
Decadence gets revamp next patch, so Yay!
mageknight Feb 26 @ 5:08am
I think there is a bug with the achievement activating. Was playing as the Abbasid Caliph, and allowed my decadence to skyrocket just for this achievement. I crushed two revolts without getting the achievement.

Also, yes, the number of troops that spawn is based on your total levy. I had the de jure Persian Empire plus Syria (had a total of about 60k in levies), 121k spawned for the revolt. I saved up a ton of gold just so that I could throw mercs at them... it worked... but the achievement failed me... twice.
