is this normal?
hey guys, is this normal? i crushed his army with my 12k troops prior his surrender and he still have that many troops with only 4 counties.

Looking at the screenshot, he clearly holds Al-Andalus and quite a bit of North Africa. I'd say that he holds more than 4 counties as you claim, and in fact that number of troops is fairly low for such a large kingdom.

the other green is from another kingdom, it's not umayyad, he only hold those 4 counties hence there is no duke or counts under him.

Well, he is a sultan, not an emir. So, he is like a muslim king.
Clearly, he's not the king of Al-Andalus nor the king of Mauretania, so I suggest you to see where he has his kingdom.
Maybe he's the king of Mali or Africa.

nope he is a king with only 4 counties and after he lost 2 other counties, his troops drops to 2.5k max. I'm in a game right now and he only 1 county left, which is lishbuna and he have like 1500 troops left, he is still a king of andalusia but a caliph took over mali and become the king of mali (the other green color). It seems the game fixed itself.

Nvm, he holy war me with 20k troops outta nowhere....

Probably those 20k men are some kind of holy orders, or a big group of mercenaries.
20k can be a host, too. Maybe a muslim host joined him in his holy war.

Looking at that screenshot, his most powerful vassals are all barons... So, yeah, I believe that he only has a few counties.

If he's rich (or has a lot of piety) he could easily have hired mercenaries/holy orders. He could also have event troops from something - Maybe he took over that kingdom with an adventurer claim. After it had lost most of it's land to something else.

no he didn't bring any allies with him when he holy warred me, he had 2 counties when he holy warred me and 2.5k trrops then magically have 20k, i checked if he hired merc but the merc list was empty(nobody hired them). I thought it might be a host claim but will a host only declare for only 1 county? usually at least 1 duchy and will be bring 20k for 1 county? if so.. then it's broken xD.

Look at their finances. It will tell you how many money uses in levies, retinues and mercenaries.
But, the 20k number only makes me think in hosts.
Also, lets check one thing, too. All the 20k soldiers are your enemies? I mean, maybe you see the number in red because he has, I don't know, 2.5k but there is a 20k host not-hostile-to-you under it.

It turns out he is ibadi religion, do they get special troops every year or something? I noticed his piety nearing 0, maybe a holy order? but the religion haven't reformed though and does the holy order provide with so many troops? in any rate, these are the screen shot of his troops.

Click in his kingdom shield, and that's what I want to see. I think most of the info will be there.

Well, I can see... No expenses in levies, mercenaries or retinues. So, these army is nothing of them. They must be special event troops.

yup, prob, anyway to disable or prevent that? which dlc is it from? kinda game breaking to me... i mean, i would love 20k troops outtanowhere too lols.
