A few questions
Need all the tips to win battles. I seem to loose evne with bigger armies.
Also, what causes vassals to refuse to give me levies, table shows that they have levies but button to gather them is greyed out.

There are a few factors. First would be moral. If you have lower moral your troops are more likely to break and run than the enemies even if they are outnumbered. Troop type matters too. Throwing a whole bunch of light infantry into battle against a smaller number of heavy infantry also ends badly. A third major factor is the martial ability of the commanders, and any special abilities they may have that would give them bonus' in various combat phases. Fourth would be flanking. Do you have 3 groups when you click on your army or are they all concentrated in a single battle? If you are outflanked then the enemy will get attack bonus too. Of course terrain penalties and the like can also swing a battle.

Combat in CKII is pretty complex, but it's also quite difficult to manage it in a way to swing the odds in your favor. I can't offer any specific suggestions without seeing what sort of situation you are actually in... Think you could grab a screenshot of a battle that is going badly for you?

As for the vassals they will give you fewer troops if they dislike you. The law only sets the maximum number of levies that they can potentially give you but that'll only happen if they worship the ground you walk on. Try improving relations with your vassals and you might see a turn around.

I'll also toss in a plug for the tutorial series I'm running on CKII. If you're new to the game it might have some tips you'll find useful.

For the greyed out levies, those might be troops trained after you've already raised that vassal's levy. If you have a levy raised that comes from a vassal (or from one of your holdings for that matter) any other troops trained by that vassal (or holding) can't be raised until the current levy is dismissed or destroyed.

You could hunt through your armies to find specific levies to dismiss if the vassal has a lot locked, or you can move all your troops into friendly territory and release and reraise all of them. That's easier and what I usually do. It's a good way to replenish your armies after you've been at war for a while or are in multiple wars.

Also, in friendly territory releasing troops means they all return home and can be raised there immidiately (discounting changes in the lord's power or opinion towards you); in neutral/hostile territory you will lose a percentage of the troops.

No point in screenshots, thanks for the info, you basically said what I understood myself. Was my first day playing, started with france in the first scenario (cant remember the year) Ended up in a war against bastard(why is b.a.s.t.a.r.d filtered????) from Normandy, then flanders decided that it wants independence, after truse with Normandy I somehow managed to start beating flanders since some of the vassals decided to lend me their levies again but holy roman empire decided to join in after seeing 10k in one army while my entire country mustered about 3k at that time I just gave up. I would say a good start since I lost because I started the war with Normandy myself. Oh and I Managed to get Kings power to normal level (where vassals cannot declare war on each other anymore) that alone I consider small victory.

About levie recruitment, ohhhh, so there is a limit how much I can muster while in the lands new troops gather, that explains it.

P.S. I hate this game, it is freaking time vampire, so many possibilities, I do not even have the dlc that would let me play for my own country Lithuania yet.

Oh yes so much time... I admit at times I'd run it while I did some work at home, constant checking... :$
