Game is in slow motion

I tried this game in 3 different computers, all fully updated driver-wise and on fullscreen:

Laptop Inspiron 15R SE
i7 3612QM with a 7730M (game set to use the dedicated card on ATI tool)
8gb ram
Windows 8

Result: Severe slow down on any setting combination and compatibility settings.

Desktop i5 4670k
EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked
16gb Ram
Asus Deluxe z87
Windows 8 Pro
(tried running both from SSD and sata III HDD)

Result: Severe slow down on any setting combination and compatibility settings.

Desktop AM3 x710
XFX HD 4850
4 or 6 gb ram (ran at both, actually - had to remove 1 module at some point)
Some old, budget gigabyte mobo (might be the GA-ma69vm-s2)
Windows 7
(this one is not fully updated - not even windows was fully updated)

Result: Works flawlessly

I would love to play this on a computer that isn't my home server. Any ideas?
