Sana is the biggest pile of turd ever.
OK, so now that Sana has joined the party, there are some places only she can get to for progress. Too bad she's a ♥♥♥♥ turd and can't fight to save her life.

I get that she's a support mage and she's useful for healing, but her attacks are sub-par and completely useless.

Want to progress through the dungeon? Too ♥♥♥♥ing bad. Sana's dead and you aren't allowed to revive characters yet. Seems like you're gonna have to turn the ♥♥♥♥ back and start again.

I think this game is solid, but damn this is pretty much like cheap death. And it infuriates me to no end.

Sana is Beast! Anyway, just try to keep her alive. Stock up on herbs if you have to.

no shes not what are you talking about

she is indispensable, especially in the later stages of the game
even better than stella in some ways
youll understand once you get there

Well, that's what people get if they try to fight with the party healer on low level.

Sana is a good character, and albeit she is not as fluid in combat as Arche (due to Arche's sword combos), she is capable of wrecking most things you encounter on her own. Of that I am quite certain, since I managed to beat a party of monsters over my level with her; sure, it was easier with Arche, but that was only because I knew I can count on being healed if I fumble, which is something Arche can't do on her own.

That being said, don't be afraid to use up your mana for special attacks and "skip" fights if you can - I reckon you are stuck in the one early dungeon which is partially submerged, and there most of the time it is better to just rush ahead, use magic on the most problematic enemies, and drain the water so that Arche can advance. And it's these enemies' fault, not Sana's.

This dungeon really is hard because you can only play with her sometimes, the greatest problem is that you don't have buyable (or dropable) mp itens yet, besides that i never run out of healing itens

Just don't use any MP with her aside from when you hit the solo sections. You can manually heal with items, so just stop her from using spells period, and when you hit the solo sections don't hold back with spell usage. The sleep mist spell was really helpful to me.

Actually, unless I am very badly mistaken, you do. Because you can get those (randomly, but it doesn't cost much to try) from the capsule machine in Arche's home.

I hated that part (the submerged parts) initially too, but you can just cast shield on yourself and run to the red button so Arche can assist. Helps to soften the enemies up first a little, though. As with most things in this game: look for alternate solutions as directly engaging each enemy may not be the best option.

The good news is, later in the game, Sana becomes a beast who can destroy whatever you place in front of her. Grant it, that is sort of how all the characters are, but one of Sana's final spells she learns really bumps her offensive capabilities up.

Agreed, Sana saved my ♥♥♥ more than once and I'm not just talking about the healing water. Just keep her out of the fight or make sure she has shield cast on herself so she doesn't get knocked around.

Instead, play as Sana. You take care of the healing. Arche's AI will proceed to wreck everything, all the time.

If you have to solo as Sana, jump upward and shoot the basic water blast diagonal-downard at enemies.
