Anyway if you think the music sucks i suggest you to change your ears...
Button masher or not, there's no reason for me to not be able to move while I'm attacking in this kind of game. And as for the music, it's forgettable as ♥♥♥♥. Now Ys: The Oath in Felghana, that's a good Action RPG even though the story is kinda forgettable.
The music is carefree and fits the game just fine, I dunno what you're talking about. I guess you don't understand how atmospheres work.
The story is a bunch of lolis doing loli stuff, I don't care much for the story either but the loliness of the game is the reason it is being bought by some people.
Only in pokemon and big exploration games you can save wherever you want, having certain save points isn't really a weird rare thing.
But this game doesn't even have a certain save point OUTSIDE the town. Ys: The Oath in Felghana wasn't that big of a game either, and at least it HAD a save point outside of town. And in real live I can at least move as I defend myself. The music is ♥♥♥♥, as it's forgettable as ♥♥♥♥.
Oh? Then what do you call the path to school and other places?
the game sure requires tenacity and patience, im not surprised it repels some players but on the other hand you could show some deference to the authors strenuous work instead of spewing vitriolic remarks about this game being so horribly gay
The game is not good. I've seen better games made by one person.
well uhhh look at it this way
you say the controls are deplorable, sure theyre cumbersome
on the other hand 'they bleed pixels' has very tight and responsive controls, regardless, it has been disparaged by a lot of disgruntled customers. it stems from the games difficulty or perhaps their own ineptness.
what they bleed pixels and fortune summoners had in common was that each required some time to grasp how combat works, despite blatant disparities between the two games.
you should probably give the game more time i guess, as you unlock new tricks and get better combat becomes more fun
regarding the storyline, i dont know, i guess its pretty inane in some ways but i wouldnt expect much from an anime game like this, though this may stem from my personal dislikes here
I see. I might go back to it, but I still don't think that I will think the game is good after playing it again (or at least trying to)
As for the story, I personally think it's well-written. The dialogue has that Carpe Fulgur touch that makes every game they've done so far a blast to play. You have to think from the perspective of a child to really get into it.
As for the characters, oh my god, are Sana and Arche FREAKING ADORABLE! I swear, the only reason I collect Marks of Heroism is to watch them dance and cheer in the cutest fashion possible.
The music? I LOVE IT! Some of the songs remind of Disney animated classics, which fit well when you're just running about town. It really adds to the whole "kids just having fun" feel while travelling to your next destination.
Give it another go if you haven't. Play at least until the end of the demo content before you make up your mind. If you don't like it THEN, then I'll respect your decision to not like this game. Maybe sugary cuteness ain't up your alley? It certainly is for me.
Just one word of warning: the game is VERY HIGH on it's difficulty, even on what the game calls Normal. Mastery of the combat mechanics is essential to survive any of the later game content.
My strategy to enemies is to get up close and personal with a dive and then pummel them. Having the healer is really nice too. :D
