Fortune Summoners: Secret of the Elemental Stone

I'd like to buy it but
... the performance issues make it completely unplayable (I'm not going to disable my second monitor to play a game). Running in windowed mode also doesn't seem to solve the performance problem (it runs smooth at first but over time, the menus move slower and slower as well as input response)

It takes all of 3 clicks to disable, and then 3 more to re-enable your second monitor.

Lazy obviously.

It's a matter of convenience. You're trying to convince someone to buy the game, so don't call them lazy when they know barely anything about the game and are hesitant to give up the utility of a second screen (which you could use to search the web, run steam, open other apps, look up walkthroughs, etc.). Give the person reason why it's worth it to give up a second monitor for this game, because I'm interested too and I like my 2nd monitor.

Then something must be wrong, I've been playing this game without any performance issues whatsoever on my old laptop, runs perfectly!

I'm having the same issues, except I disabled my second monitor completely, and it STILL runs slower than molasses. God what a waste of money this was!

I don't have any gripe with the performance my problem is with the controls. I just played the demo and in menus my gamepad is terribly over-sensitive. Changing the sensitivity settings seem to help a bit but during the fighting the controls are slow to respond even when I switch to playing with the keyboard.

Recettear had simpler better responsive controls and you couldn't even change those in that game.

Has anyone tried running it on a different computer than the one they are having trouble on? It sounds like there is the possibility that people's errors are based around the machine they are running it on.

On a quick side note, toward PhyreMatrix: This game isn't from the same developer as Recettear or Chantelise, but it is from the same Publisher. Just a heads up, so they don't all get placed in the same pile.

I had the problem with the over-sensitive controls at first, but it turns out that where the analog sensitivity settings are, there's an option up to that's like "Use Analog" or something that's disabled by default. Enabling that fixed the oversensitive controller issue for me.

As for not wanting to disable a screen, it's not a matter of being lazy, but when you disable a screen, everything you have over there gets moved to your primary, including any sidebar gadgets you have on your desktop.

Actually never had any issues with this game... even when running two monitors. I'd recommend you check your drivers and all that stuff that needs to be checked when something doesn't run as it should. And my PC is not high end, it's just a Quad Core 2 duo @ 2.3GHz, 4GB RAM DDR2 @ 1066MHz, ATI HD 6870 1GBDDR5, and a P5QL Pro MoBo. OS is W7 Ultimate 64bit. I have never overclocked anything either... well, just check stuff, you might find it, eventually.

I have the same issue. And the game isnt that big and heavy to run. I have windows 8 and somehow the game run slow when I play on full screen. Playing on window mod runs fine but I is very annoying to look at a small window, so make it run on 640/480 resolution on properties makes it run on "full" screen, but you can only see the half of the F-(numbers) keys on botton-right.

Well there is your problem right there, you are using Windows 8, lol jk but that could be why the OS came out not to long ago and not many games support it.

All Vram= transitions lagging
Other settings= menu slows down after a while.

Playing it anyway. When the menu is too slow I save, close the game and open it again.
