My thoughts on the game.
This game frustrated me to no end the first time I played it. In fact, I thought the devs were downright stupid for making the game so unplayable. Anyone who's already played through the beginning probably knows what I mean.

After a while, though, the controls really started to make sense. Now, I actually see the wobbly control scheme and the meticulous button timing as some of the game's strong suits. The controls are a frustrating thing to master, but once you do master them, the game becomes inexplicably satisfying to play.

On top of that, the music score impressed me(dat chorale that plays whenever you rest at an inn) and the visuals were very simple, but really fitting for the game style. I liked a lot of the simplistic enemy designs, too.

Really, my only complaint is that the story was a bit generic, but enjoyable nonetheless. Arche was a really likable character and Stella was easy to hate, as the devs intended. I would have liked to hear more from Sana. The one that really bothered me was Chiffon. They were really, really pushing it with the whole switching-the-R-with-a-W thing, and it just came off to me as a cringe-worthy attempt to be cute.

But, yeah. Solid 8/10, worth the $10 that I bought it for when it was on sale.
